Well it has finally been confirmed, signed and in the Diary. Marlin Images is the official Wedding of the Year 2009 Photographer for the Dewsbury series of newspapers, which is part of the Yorkshire Weekly Newspaper Group Ltd.
The wedding is to take place on the 28th February 2010 and it is to be held at The Cedar Court Hotel, Wakefield, which is also one of several Hotels that recommend our services. To say all at Marlin Images are a bit excited about this is an understatement.
"This is without doubt one of the biggest recommendations we can have in our area" said Mark Wilkinson, Managing Director of Marlin Images and main wedding photographer. Having been Avante Garde wedding photographer of the year 2 years running with several other awards to his name and the company its a fitting reward for someone that works so many long hours. Mark also stated "it's not just myself that works long hours, more than I should but all our staff here. Sarah Robinson our main studio photographer has been invaluable over the past 5 months, a real asset to the company."
The wedding part of the business is growing so fast as well, with weddings exceeding a 40% increase over the past year, home and abroad. A true testiment to the quality and service we can provide.
